Cleaning Checklist

To ensure the refund of your security deposit, the pavilion and property must be cleaned and left in the same clean, undamaged condition as when you received it.

This checklist will help you with your cleaning. Any items not completed, areas not cleaned, or any damage incurred will result in the loss of your security deposit, or assessed the $200.00 cleaning fee. Any damages or cleaning fees above the cleaning fee or security deposit will be the responsibility of the renter.

 

Decorations

  • All decorations and attachments (staples, tacks, etc.) are to be taken down and removed or thrown away

Props

  • All props property of The Duck Pond Farm are to be cleaned and placed back property in the Prop Room

Trash

  • All trash is to be bagged and removed from cans
  • Boxes are to be broken down and placed in trash bags
  • Trash bags are to be placed together behind the pavilion
  • All liquid should be poured out before placing container in trash

Tables/Chairs/Barstools

  • Completely wiped down and cleaned including seats, backs and legs
  • Returned to store room - tables/chairs replaced on racks

Pavilion area

  • Sweep floor of trash and debris. Place in trash bags
  • Do not sweep trash onto the grounds
  • Cleanup any types of spills including food and beverage
  • Wipe down bar area

Supply Room

  • Remove all trash/debris
  • Sweep floor
  • Return racks of tables/chairs to storage

Kitchen area

  • Remove any items in kitchen area/refrigerator/freezer
  • Wipe down inside counter tops/sink
  • Clean any appliances used
  • Sweep floors and mop up any spills

Brides Room/Grooms Room/Guest Restrooms

  • Remove all trash/debris
  • Empty trash cans
  • Wipe down sinks, counters, mirrors
  • Wipe down showers
  • Sweep floors

Pavilion Perimeter/Property/Pond/all areas of Public use

  • Grounds area to be walked and inspected for any type of trash.
    Trash includes cigarette butts, decorations, bottles, etc.
  • All trash must be picked up and disposed of
