  • How do I secure my date?
  • To secure your date, you will need a signed contract, your refundable security deposit and a minimum of 1/3 of your package price.
  • How can payments be made?
  • Your balance can be paid in one payment or divided among 3 payments. You can pay in person or online by check, debit or credit card. The deposit and first payment is due at contract signing and the final payment is due a minimum of 90 days prior to the event.
  • Do we have to use a specific caterer or other vendors?
  • No - we are a "who you choose" venue in terms of your vendors and suppliers. So that you can have the wedding that fits your style and budget, we do not require you to use any specific vendor or supplier. We can provide you a list of referred vendors that have provided services to weddings here or who are familiar with our venue or may provide special discounted packages for weddings at The Duck Pond Farm.
  • How many guests can be accommodated?
  • The Duck Pond Farm is the perfect place for wedding and event of many sizes. We can accommodate a small intimate wedding or a larger group depending upon setup and arrangement. We provide tables and seating for 162 inside the pavilion area, however, you can bring in additional chairs, tables, and use the grounds for larger groups. You can also rent and have a tent setup by a reputable outside vendor.
  • Can alcohol be served at my wedding or event?
  • Alcohol can be served, but not sold at your event. An ABC licensed bartender is required for all events where alcohol will be on premises. Please provide a copy of the license of the bartender you will be using. If you do not have or know an ABC licensed bartender, let us know and we will provide a list for you .The guidelines for all vendors are outlined in the contract.
  • How late can we play music or have guests at the event?
  • Music should be quieted by 10pm and ended by 11pm. All guests must vacate the premises by midnight.
  • Can I do my own decorating, or have someone come in and do it?
  • Yes. Decorating can be done anytime during the rental time frame and you choose the style and theme. Decorating can be done by you, your family or a decorator that you have hired for your event.
  • How do I get my Security deposit refunded?
  • Your refundable security/damage deposit is held to cover any missing items or damages that may occur or to cover the cleaning fee in the event that cleaning is not completed as outlined. The deposit is refunded in whole or in part within 7-10 days following your event. The contract will outline all things considered in reference to the refundable deposit.
  • Do you provide any specialty items that can be rented?
  • Yes. You can add on any or all of these to your package. The benefit of renting them from us is there is no additional delivery or pick up charge. Please see packages page for pricing and details. Here is a list of specialty items we can provide:
